Reset your nervous system.

Experience Equine Therapy.

Have a playful day on a beautiful farm.

I wonder:

  • Would you describe your nervous system as overstimulated?
  • Are you running on fumes?
  • Do you feel stuck in your head?

I understand.

This is your opportunity to slow down, come back to earth and bask in the nourishing presence of the herd.

Give yourself half a day to rest, reflect and reset with the support of wise horses, the natural world and a collection of kind humans.

This is for:

  • Seekers & Self-healers looking to ground down & grow
  • Therapists curious about nature-based clinical practice
  • Anyone needing a day in nature to reset & rejuvenate

Join us to experience firsthand how the herd reflects and recalibrates the human nervous system.

Higher Ground Healing

23776 Cody Park Rd, Golden, CO

Farm Fee: $35

This is not a formal therapy session.

It’s a chance to shift the way you move through  connection with nature and animals.

We’ll keep it light, grounded and practical.

The Experience

01

Connect with the life of the farm: Get a guided tour to meet the donkeys, peacocks, ducks, farm dogs and of course, the horses.

02

Dual Awareness in Action: Simple practices to help you "arrive" on the land and in your body — a technique you can take with you to create equilibrium wherever your go.

03

Equine Therapy Demo: Participate in a live demonstration of how horses can help you to process stress and build relational safety. Experience "Lead Mare Energy" and authentic leadership for yourself.

04

Community & Connection: Spacious time for conversational Q&A about horses, nature-based therapy and how to carry this work forward.

Higher ground Healing

Located in the picturesque Golden foothills, just a short drive from Boulder and Denver, sits Higher Ground Healing.

The farm is a peaceful, nature-filled retreat space created for deep presence and somatic reconnection. Surrounded by crisp mountain air, towering evergreens, and our gentle, intuitive herd, the moment you pass through the front gates, time slows down. It’s more than just a farm it’s a living, breathing container where human, horse, and nature meet to help you feel grounded, held, and truly at home.

Please reach out to me with any questions.

faq

What should I bring/ wear to the event?

Please wear closed-toe shoes (boots or sturdy sneakers are best!) and dress in layers for the Colorado mountain weather. Bring a water bottle, an open mind, and a notebook if you like to jot down reflections.

Do I need prior horse experience?

Not at all! This is a ground-based experience (no riding involved) and is completely beginner-friendly. Our focus is on somatic awareness and observing the herd.

Can I bring my kid(s)?

This event is designed for adults and older teens. Because we will be doing a live equine demonstration and moving through the farm with various animals, we ask that you leave the little ones at home.

Want to dive deeper into this work?

Beyond these community open houses, I offer deep-dive 1:1 equine and nature-based therapy, private intensives, and weekend retreats.
